Essays
Damn, I haven’t written any essays on life yet. I plan to! I’m not sure when, but I will.
Why would I want to write essays outside of school? I have a lot to say and essays are a perfect forum for that. They are flexible in length and easy to distribute. Essays retain a respectable status compared to modern journalistic ramblings, which are usually without rule and focus. That’s not to say I don’t like journals. In fact, I love journals. They provide a better view into who you are at that very moment. They’re just not solid like an essay, which, when properly constructed, should last the test of time.
